MONTGOMERY COUNTY JAIL BAIL BONDS

After an arrest in Montgomery County, the person is transported to the Montgomery County Jail for booking — property inventory, medical/mental health screening, identity verification, fingerprinting and photographs.

Within roughly 24–48 hours, the defendant appears before a magistrate who explains the charges, informs them of their rights, and sets or confirms the bail amount.

Once we have the defendant's information and the bond amount, we prepare the paperwork and post the surety bond with the court — most cases move within hours, not days.

The jail processes the release once the bond is accepted. The defendant is given upcoming court dates — showing up to every one is a condition of the bond.
